US2.AI On Premises Installation

Introduction

The US2.AI on-premises software application processes DICOM images from multiple echo machines, automatically generating measurements and report text. This output can be forwarded to existing PACS, reporting systems, or EMRs in parallel to the current reporting workflow. Alternatively, US2.AI can function as a comprehensive PACS solution for echo images, providing order management, DICOM worklist, billing, and long-term storage of echo images. Client access is via a web browser. Patient data remains within the site's network and is not accessible externally, unless data sharing is specifically requested and enabled by an administrator via secure encrypted connections.

The application software and web server can be installed on:

• An IT managed Virtual Machine with a dedicated GPU (preferred for redundancy)
• A physical server supplied by local IT
• A physical server supplied by US2.AI (typically an Intel NUC, Dell workstation, or Dell Server)

Multiple echo scanners and multiple clients (clinical users accessing via browser) can connect concurrently to a single instance.

Infrastructure Requirements

The US2.AI software requires a dedicated server or virtual machine (VM) within the hospital's local area network (LAN). If utilizing a VM, it must be provisioned with a dedicated Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) to support processing requirements. The server infrastructure must meet the following connectivity requirements:

• Ultrasound Machine Integration: All ultrasound machines designated for data transmission must have reliable and consistent network connectivity to the US2.AI server. This includes appropriate network addressing, firewall configurations, and network bandwidth to ensure seamless data flow.
• Client Browser Access: The US2.AI server must be accessible via standard web browser protocols (HTTPS) from all client workstations within the hospital network. Network configurations, including firewall rules and routing, must be implemented to ensure reliable and secure browser access.

Workstation or Server Requirements

Minimum specification:

• OS (to be installed & managed by local IT)
  • Ubuntu 18+ (preferred for stability & performance)
  • Debian 10+
  • CentOS 7+
  • Amazon Linux 2
  • Windows 11 Pro / Windows Server 2022 or higher
